Review summary

The vacation was nice. I was pretty frustrated by the fact that so many children were able to play unsupervised aboard the ship all hours of the day and night. Our room was located directly above the casino, but didn't hear anything which was great.

Overall staff is wonderful. I felt that the entertainment staff wasn't as upbeat and friendly as they could have been. Compared to the Pride entertainment staff, the Glory seemed forced. I also wasn't pleased that only certain people were given prior notice about the costume contest prior to departure. The contest was also disappointing. There were supposed to be awards for the best guy, girl and group. The awards went to the best guy and a group them the cruise director's parents won. All of the contestants were promised something would be sent to their rooms for participation and nothing was sent.

The ship was kept very clean. I didn't like the layout of this ship. Certain areas couldn't be reached by elevator and others you had to go to a different floor in order to get to the other side of the ship then down to the floor you wanted. For example, to get to the dining room on deck 3 you had to walk through the smoke filled casino to get to the other side just to take the elevators to deck 3 to get to the entrance of the restaurant. It's a beautiful clean ship I just didn't like the layout.
