Review summary

Our friends and we were charged $40+ erroneously, but saw what an ordeal our friends had to go through to get their money back, we just decided not to dispute it. We had a 100% chance of being erroneously charged. I just hope it’s not a common scam and there should be a better system than the “honor” system when it comes to the ability to put something on someone else’s tab.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Good. The safety precaution presentation could use some improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I felt like food was a hit or miss. Would pay extra for veggie smoothies or more nutritious food.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We gambled, played BB, mini golfed, tossed bean bags, water slide was cold and windy. Pool could be bigger and warmer. Hot tub definitely needed to be warmer. We appreciated the sauna, the steam room wasn’t working.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We loved Clay on the piano. We enjoyed the comedians, especially the Puerto Rican female. We really liked the interactive games for adults that got a little raunchy, especially the group challenge and the hairy chest contest. Wish there could be more R&B musicians (maybe do songs from Kid Cudi, Frank Ocean, Alicia Keys, Donnell Jones, Andre Day or any cleaner modern soul)

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Phenomenal. Absolutely made the cruise worth coming back. My kids begged to go even on port days!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Very thankful for the service and staff’s attitude, friendliness, accommodation, and genuine kindness. They all seem to love what they do.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very pleased by the hygiene and sanitation of everything.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We miss the water pressure and temperature gauge!

Ship tip

Don’t participate in all the photos! It’s excessive and damaging to the environment to be so wasteful. Try to be conservative on food and just go back for more, once again this is a luxury many cannot afford and being wasteful is not a good way to appreciate this unique opportunity to enjoy ourselves.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida Did not visit port

Didn’t have time.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
I loved the boat ride in. I loved the ship in the background. The weather was nice. It was fun to see wild life (fish, chickens). The jerk chicken and couscous, was delicious.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
The kids asked to go to kids club and the adults were able to shop and tour and find an authentic lunch that was delicious.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
All of our favorite port. Once again the kids asked to stay in kids club so despite the poor weather we enjoyed shopping, touring, good coffee, and getting a historic appreciation for the PR!

Grand Turk Island

4 out of 5
I had an allergic reaction to something here and that was tough. It was overcrowded and felt congested. The food was good though.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Wish there was a way to move the line faster.
