Review summary

Pretty fun. It was challenging taking tenders with a stroller and a wheelchair. Don't think id recommend cruising to others in this position, not very accessible. The staff were very friendly and good food.

Great options for vegetarians, staff were all so friendly, loved Jennifer our steward.

Onboard Activities

Singers couldn't sing in tune except the main guy. Need a bit of work on these. Perhaps offer a magic show or shomething different.

Terrible for those in a wheelchair. Everyone kept wanting to take her wheelchair and not give her a new one to sit in and so slow to get to airport.

Never had a problem with RC, Regent or princess, I do fold ours up when we’re not using it, we met people on board who used a scooter, they had to leave it on the deck lobby as it couldn’t fit through their stateroom door.

According to carnival all scooters, wheel chairs must be in rooms. It's a safety issue, not a being stolen issue. Our last cruise seemed to have a ton of them. Several where left near main elevators, did see a few of the crew looking at tags on them. After the first day I never saw them there.

I’ve cruised several times with a wheelchair and I have a couple of tips. 1. BYO wheelchair, buy or rent one. A second hand collapsible wheelchair is around $100. It’s worth it! , no one will take your wheelchair. airlines fly them as baggage and are not counted as part of your baggage allowance. If it’s folded up you can leave it outside your cabin door. 2. Pick smaller cruise ships. Smaller cruise ships have less tendering ports. I’m going on a 34 day cruise that has only 1 tender port.
