Review summary

Long time Carnival cruiser. Food bad again. Not much to do after hours. Bored. Staff friendly. Will pass on Carnival for next cruises. Gonna try MSC and we really enjoy Norwegian.

Food not good. Even the steak house was not good. Filet was cold. Service at steak house was good, but they were understaffed. We opted for the deli or sushi many nights vs dining room or buffets

Make sure you do your research on MSC before booking, If you were unhappy with Carnival. You may find this is NOT a line for you. Most Americans expect this line to be like Carnival, NCL or Royal and it is very different. I just sailed on the Divina and absolutely loved it. However, many people don't like all the opera and ballet inspired shows, Italian influences, multicultural passenger mix etc. If you are not open to those differences, stick with what you know you like.

Um there is a piano bar and comedians almost every night and shows and casino and movies on lido on the big screen and an arcade. Ship is dead at 2-5am

Awww sorry you didn't have a great experience. We were on her 2 weeks ago and got the exact opposite...food was really good and always had something going on till late at night!! Loved C-Love (CD) Really liked Emerald (steakhouse) yeah it's prob time to try a different cruiseline!
