My elder son said he felt it was the vacation of lines, and I have to concur. We were in lines to get on and off the boat daily that were ofter 45 min or more each time, lines for food, lines for elevators, lines for pictures....
Embarkation

Poor. I purchased the transport from the airport to the ship to ease the stress, and it would have been significantly less stress and not walking for a mile if we took a cab.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The food was plentiful and excellent. My teen sons appreciated food availability nearly all day.
Onboard Activities

Wow! Service was impecable! Our servers were attentive and remarkable. Their names are Ni Luh and AliceSyrup.
Entertainment

Was there entertainment? Seriously, it was a joke, and not the funny kind in the comedy clubs. We tried several of the activities, I call them activities because they were not entertainment. I don't call a Lip Sync Battle among cruisers or 70's and 80's trivia night entertainment. Lame!!!!!!!
Children's Programs

My son is 16, and I signed him up for the teen club. This was terrible!!!! Every time we walked by the place was empty. I went in at one point and asked about the activities, and basically they said there were board games and cards. Are you kidding me? Ummm, is the person organizing this in their 70's? Teens don't get enticed into an area for card/ board games. Where is the VR? Just Dance competitions? Video game competitions? Pinball machines? This was absolutely ridiculous!
Service and Staff

Our service was amazing.
Ship Quality

There were too many smoking areas, and we had to try to avoid complete floors (5) due to the disgust. Obviously, we didn't gamble for this reason alone.
Wow! We loved Cayman!!! The only suggestion I would have is allow cruisers to stay on the island longer. 2:30 end time was about 2 hours too early. Plus, then we had to wait in a line over an hour to get back on the boat.
We did a tour of the area and went snorkeling. Very nice people and a nice environment, very different than what we're accustomed to, but that was a good experience as well.
I๏ธ remember that about the lines. Very true. We have learned to take the stairs instead of the elevators.
Glad the service was good! We will be on Glory for Christmas week.
I am lucky enough to have sailed this ship twice and while there are lines, if you time things better and not go at peak times, you will miss the lines. Sounds like u missed the actual shows they have because I enjoyed them. As for the elevator, that is common problem on all cruise ships. Just take the stairs if ur able to. After all, being on a cruise Iโm going to eat non stop, the stairs is the only thing keeping me from turning into an anchor ๐
Good review. You have good points and gave details. I hate reviews when they just say something was crappy or awesome and donโt explain. And I was wondering about the cabin outlets. Thanks for being helpful. ๐๐
