Review summary

This was our first cruise and although there were no issues and everything was at least 4 stars we would not cruise again. Basically too many people and too noisy.

I never cruise on the summer or when school is out to avoid large crowds and bad kids

From my experience the Alaska. Cruise is more peaceful/quiet. I've been 3 times and love the scenery!

You tried something new, and did not care for the experience. Should you ever try again, perhaps a quieter cruise line. Best wishes.

There are smaller, more intimate ships that might be more what you're looking for, such as river cruises. Those get into smaller port areas, have far fewer activities on board, and are considerably more expensive. The food and service are usually exceptional. As stated however, cruising isn't for everyone. Sometimes trying a different line, ship, itinerary, etc. can make a difference too.

We are on this cruise too. I really enjoyed it! This is my 6th cruise. I do have to say cruising isn't for everyone.
