Review summary

Overall we were very happy and great full we selected Carnival Glory as our first family cruise. My kids, husband and family enjoyed every minute in the cruise.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
I was impressed with how organized and fast it was. We were there much earlier and we were able to enjoy the ship without even planning to do so.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Our dining experience was one to always remember. We enjoyed the wonderful food and we felt like royalty with how special we were treated.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Definitely loved the spa experience. The kids loved the pools, clubs, entertainment most of all the performances and specially the food.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I was impressed with how well organized and choreographed the performances were. Their voices were great also.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
The kids clubs weren't really used since my kids are older. But they really enjoyed themselves.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
As previously mentioned we were treated like royalty. Our waiters Eric , Octavian, Vernisse, Jogi were excellent. They went above and beyond our expectations and they contributed to our wonderful first cruise experience as a family and we will forever remember them.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was consistently being cleaned which is great. Once again I was impressed with the design and how clean everything was.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our bed was very comfortable. I loved how we also had a bed coming from the ceiling that our son was able to stay with us. I also found out that there are family suites which is better for is since we are a family of 5 not 4. I loved the cabin specially the balcony experience.

Ship tip

My only advice for anyone would be to bring your water bottles to your cabins when your traveling with a big family.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
I thought it was very organized, we loved it.

George Town, Grand Cayman

4 out of 5
Also enjoyed it very much and we were able to do a tour of the island of which we enjoyed as a family.

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
This one was my favorite because I loved the beach experience the most.

Belize City, Belize

3 out of 5
Wasn't impressed with Belize and a little disappointed. The beach was too far and we couldn't go because of the time we had to come back to the ship.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
The port in Mexico we loved but because of the rain we weren't able to do any water activities. Next time we will not leave all of the activities for one island and spread them across each island.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Our disembarkation was very organized as well and didn't feel overwhelming. We enjoyed breakfast before we left the ship and enjoyed left with our luggage.
