Review summary
My family and I were first time cruisers and didn't know what to expect. We didn't expect to not be told and then find out after the fact that not all the work on the ship was to be finished by time the ship came out of dry dock. We didn't expect to have to tell our 12 year old that there would be no water slides on our March break vacation (part of the reason we picked the Glory). We got past that and were determined to make this the best family vacation ever.
We paid for FTTF with the understanding that it would make things better! While it had its advantages, we didn't expect to have them lose my husbands luggage. It was found and returned the next day and they did their best to make it right.
I would say we got off to a rocky start.
However, I can say that the cruise was fun, the ports were great and the crew was AMAZING!!!!! My family and I did end up having the best family vacation we've ever had and have already booked our next cruise.
The food was great and every effort was made to ensure we had a great time.
We were nervous with the way things started out, and we could've let it dictate how the rest of the trip was going to go but we didn't. It was a team effort between us and Carnival, for US to enjoy OUR vacation, and WE DID!!!!!
