Review summary

This was the worst cruise I have ever been on. Service outside the stateroom was terrible. Food in the dining room was substandard. Food at the buffet was not replenished in time. You ran out of some alcoholic beverages. Broken deck furniture. Shortage of ash trays. All I heard from repeat customers was how the service level had deteriorated, especially because the crew was understaffed. I cannot carry a note when I sing. Neither could your entertainers. Very unsatisfactory entertainment across the board. The top side speaker system was very difficult to hear because the speakers needed to be replaced. It will be a long, long time before I ever cruise Carnival again if ever.

Planning on sailing on the Glory June 9. Been on two prior cruises both with Carnival. Loved them both. The weather on our last one lacked a lot to be desired, but as pointed out before, not the fault of the ship. I've read many reviews on just about every ship out there, and I always seem to want to come back to Carnival. I guess I'm more laid back than some who post comments about Carnival being cheap and not up to "par" with other lines. I'm on vacation! I want to be able to walk around in my swimming trunks and sandels. I don't have to have 5-star food all the time. I enjoy watching the way-to-intoxicated people make fools out of themselves! And I don't mind the kids running around. It's a family and fun cruise line. If these people don't want all that, then by all means sail on a different line. Or better yet, just stay at home!

I too was on that Cruise. My Wait staff was great, and my Room Attendant even better ! Yes, the one evening the Seas were rough, but that is not Carnival's fault ! Overall that was one of the best cruises I've been on. I guess some people just like to gripe ?

We were on the same cruise and I can say this review is nonsense for the most part. I can not say enough good things about Carnival's staff. They work like dogs and always greet you with a friendly smile. Many try to remember your name, and succeed which is amazing given the amount of people they encounter from week to week, especially the bartender's, wait staff and cabin stewards. The food is good in all areas, nor could you expect it to be. Not five star but better than average. The entertainment was just that, entertaining. We saw two musical shows and the comedians. We liked them. Some people just like to complain for complaints sake. I will say the seas were rough which was definitely felt most of the time at sea in the ship. Rolling. But that's nature, not Carnival or inadequacies with the Glory. Cruise on!

We were on that same cruise and it was superb!! The only thing that I didn't like was the rough seas the night we left Puerto Rico but everything else was great!

April 16th will be our 3rd cruise...all with Carnival and we have not had any problems at all and 3 different ships. Everything has been great and we are excited about this one too!

Here we go again...somebody with nothing better to do than sit and make up stories..nothing ever is 100 percent perfect, but I don't believe anything you have comented..just do all of us and carnival a favor and never book another cruise with them!!
