Review summary

Overall our experience was good.  We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary.  One of the gifts carnival gave us was a 50 spa card.  I used it for a hair treatment.  I was not happy about having to pay an additional 35.00 just to get my hair dried after the treatment and had a hard time communicating with the employee.  I felt the staff working in the cabins and on the ship were extremely courteous and helpful.  When I booked my cruise through the person I was working with was either fired or quit.  No one informed me so a lot of things I was trying to get answered did not happen.  I finally called to see what was going on and that is when I was told and the person helped the best she could.

I also received a $50 spa card for my birthday, so I called to schedule a pedicure. They would only do it if I upgraded to a $70 full-leg treatment. So it cost me $20 after using the card, cool. I left a $20 tip for the pedicure person, and then she ripped me off for another $20 by falsifying a credit card charge. I am just lucky to find that after I got home, so I called Carnival for a refund

$50 spa card. That's awesome. Did you tell them at time of booking it was your anniversary

...$35 is a pretty good time. All the spa treatments are overpriced but I imagine worth that extra pampering on a cruise.

A blowdry is usually never included with a service. A blowdry is another service. I am a hairdresser. It is our time.
