Not what we expected

Sail Date: July 04, 2015

After having cruised last year on the Conquest we were seriously disappointed with the Carnival GLORY. The Glory's July 4th cruise was noisy. The vibration from the ship's motors was extremely annoying. From vibrating seats in the dining room all the way to our cabins on the 8th deck. The ship needs servicing. Also people were constantly slamming cabin doors at all hours. Crew  members did nothing to alleviate this. If your looking for a RELAXING cruise this isn't the ship. The cabin crews, dining crews and guest services were not up to par. The entertainment was fair with the exception of the Pianist in the Piano bar ( excellent) and the Guitarist/singer Edd Carr who was by far the best entertainer on board.

Food and Dining
Nothing outstanding
Service and Staff
Crew seemed tired. No sense of urgency to accommodate/serve the passengers.
Entertainment
The Pianist Carson Rhodes in the lounge was excellent and gracious. The guitarist/ singer Edd Carr is a phenominal musician .
Children's Programs
This program needs an overhaul
Onboard Activities Lacking. Unless your intention is to spend time and money in the gift shops.
Destinations and Excursions
Ship Quality
Ship needs a refurbishing. Really bad vibrations and noise.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
When using the Ferry's to transport the crew gives out numbers but fails to check them.
Cabin / Stateroom
Nothing good or bad.

Tip

If you travel on the Glory request a table on the upper level for dining and bring ear plugs.
