Overall really nice cruise

Overall the cruise was very nice.  The customer service was good.  The food in the dining room was outstanding!  The entertainment was also very good.  The one disappointment was with our cabin.  It was a nice size; however I would definitely recommend  selecting a cabin on a higher deck.  We were located on the 2nd deck at the back of the ship.  We could hear the engine and feel the vibration from the ship all night which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.  Because the vibration was so intense, the cabinets, glasses and pictures also vibrated which added to the noise.   You could also feel more motion on the lower level as opposed to the upper level.  If you suffer from motion sickness, do yourself a favor and stay away from selecting a cabin on any of the lower decks.  I've cruised with Royal Caribbean in the past, and there wasn't a significant difference in quality for the price.  Overall we paid a great price for this vacation.  I would definitely recommend Carnival Glory.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
The dining room was great! I wasn't especially impressed with the buffet
Cabin / Stateroom
The cabin was a nice size but being on a lower deck was miserable. You could really feel the motion, hear engine noise and feel the vibration. It was almost unbearable and we often couldn't get a good night's sleep. Agents such advise guests of this when booking cruises.
Service and Staff
Iputu, Goebe and the representative who maintained our cabin was outstanding!
Children's Programs
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
Excursions were ok for us, but I think it depends on what you select. Other excursions may have been great.
Miami, Florida
Cozumel, Mexico
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Beautiful scenery with nice excursions
Belize City, Belize
Loved the shopping!
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Very expensive shopping and restaurants!

In comparison to Royal Caribbean, the buffet could be greatly improved. Their buffet is open all day with various food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Carnival Glory's buffet had limited hours. As a result, we had to select less healthier food items such as burgers, pizza etc.
