Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We could not have been happier with the quality and selection of the food and dining experience. Again, the dining staff was friendly and helpful and the food was high quality throughout the trip.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We only participated in a couple events, but what little we did partake in was great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Very nice and professional staff throughout the cruise. By the end of the cruise we felt we would genuinely miss some of the regular staff members we had come to know during the cruise.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Carnival Glory is a beautiful ship. It was very clean and colorful as well as easy to find your way around in.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We were very frugal and chose the least expensive cabin they had to offer, and yet we were very impressed. It was nice looking, clean, and comfortable. The only negative point was that it was all the way in the front of the ship on the lowest deck, and we could feel the waves hitting the ship at night. No fault of the ship or crew, but we would suggest avoiding the very front of the ship when making your cabin selection.

Ports of call

Halifax, Nova Scotia

3 out of 5
Halifax appeared to be a very nice, clean, and pleasant city. We explored it on foot and it was quite scenic. The Maritime Museum was very nice. We went to the Citadel, but found it too expensive to go in - that was a bit of a disappointment. We would only have looked around inside for an hour at best and the views would have been poor due to the foggy/rainy day. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants, but there were many that looked very cozy and inviting.

Saint John, New Brunswick

3 out of 5
Saint John was a very nice clean city with lots of shops and restaurants to explore. Very down to earth, but pleasing for sure. We explored it on foot, and enjoyed a lunch there.

Pros: Food, Service, Scenery

Cons: Room location
