Leading up to the cruise we were super excited for this cruise as it was our first one. We were very disappointed in this ship/cruise. We felt like we were left high and dry without any compensation for all of our troubles. I would truly love to try another but I doubt my husband would go for paying for another one since we had such a bad time.

Thankfully there was Guy's burger om board or we would have been in a hard spot. The buffet options were nasty, the pizza place NEVER could keep up with the amount of people (even if it was 10 people)
Main dining room was okay, we expected some more seafood options, or better meat selection.

The pools are so tiny, and with so many people on board it was nearly impossible to enjoy them. My husband got in one day for about an hour, when he got out his clothes were so bleached from the water that they were stained immediately the bleach had made holes in them and we had to throw them away.

The shows are scheduled too close together, you dont have time to get from one to the other before the line is so full and theres not seating. The way they "decided" to make their own rules up was silly( we went to a karoke contest, there were maybe 10 adults signed up, and they waited around too long then said it was too late to take all of the entries so he threw them in the air and on the floor and had a guest pick 6 off the floor) all of that could have been prevented if they kept things running smoothly.

Our room was DISGUSTING when we arrived, we had to find our steward for him to clean it, we had to go ask for everything. The main dining room waiters at our table were nice/quick, however one of them had mentioned he was sick one of the 1st nights and he was still up in your face serving, well the 3rd day my husband ended up getting sick. We had several encounters with RUDE store workers who had no clue what they were doing at the sales nor how to help or who could help. We bought a necklace at the $1gold sale, they made us come back the next night to pick up so they could put the clasp on. We return, wait in line FOREVER and then open our bag and the clasp had never even been put on, the worker ran us around to 4 different people and they all kept trying to push us off on someone else instead of trying to fix the problem. Then we had an issue with the app working, went to guest services, no help. The lady actually tried deleting the app and then she couldnt re download it because we were in the middle of the ocean, and she said " Oh well, it wasnt working for you anyway". Mind you that is your ONLY lifeline of knowing anything on the ship. We went back regarding something being declined on the sign&sail card,AFTER we had stood in a picture line forever for him to tell us we had to go to guest services. That service desk guy was so rude, and could not tell us why it declined the card( I had linked a debit card to the sail and sign card). He ran it again himself and it magically worked, but he couldnt tell us how the process worked with having a card linked and making purchases, he was VERY RUDE and short with us, we had told him we had been habing a miserable time and this was our first cruise, what could he do/compensate for it and he said "ok, sorry have a good night, "I can help the next person".

They were clean, but there is not enough to do on this ship. You were only allowed to play the games on top deck at certain times, areas were usually clean.

The size was better than I expected, it was still filthy when we arrived, top bunk halfway opened(did not need it) the bed was supposed to be a king, the crack in between the 2 beds was so bad we kept rolling into it, it seemed to only be vaccumed once. When we arrived there was a pantyliner stuck on the cabinet and there was food and crumbs still on the shelf, there was shampoo(I hope) on the shower walls. Thankfully I brought Clorox wipes with me to wipe everything off, including the shower floor, I used about 5wipes in the room and they were black from the filth.

Research other ships, this one was pretty boring( we were told by multiple people they were sorry this was our first cruise experience because it was bad)
There were several boats besides us here so the amount of people was crazy!!! We wanted to go to the closest beach, Junkanoo I believe, but we had NO idea how to get there and noone was escorting you there or nothing, we went to 3 shops really close and went back to the ship.
Beach was beautiful, food buffet was less than mediocre. Main problem was the amount of boat shuttles they had. They had 3 boats so it took forever, others we talked to said other boats had 6 shuttles before on other cruises.
I am surprised you were allowed to enter your room before it was cleaned. I had 8 cruises with carnival and not once our room was dirty. We are to be on this ship in 47 days i hope will not have any bad experiences like you did. Taking grandkids with us this time.has to be special.
I have sailed many times on many different cruise lines , and never encountered any rude crew members. Sorry you had so many problems on your first cruise.
