Review summary

Cruise itself was ok but will never use carnival again.

Had to deal with the odor of marijuana coming into our room even though it is strictly prohibited and no one ever addressed the issue. But smoking regular cigarettes in your room would be a $500 fine. NEVER AGAIN!

It's not just Carnival that has this issue. Besides you can go to a regular hotel and have the same issue.

unfortunately, the marijuana smell is happening on all cruise lines. I had a few friends get off of royal and had the same issue. carnival is trying to crack down. last time I sailed they had a drug sniffing dog in the terminal and even had one on the ship (this was the magic in feb) not once did we smell marijuana. I was pleasantly surprised.
