Cruise was such fun. Even though it was hot most places and got some rain here and there, we never let it bother us. The crew of the Freedom was amazing. Special shout outs to David and Percy at Blue Iguana tequila bar, Diana at the Atrium bar, our outstanding cabin Steward Ketut, and especially the Cruise Director Emma.

Mostly very clean and well maintained for an older ship. Main design flaw is not being able to avoid the smoky casino without having to traverse a different floor. As long as they allow smoking I'm the casino, there should at least be access to avoid it via outed deck.
Cabin / Stateroom

Grand suite was roomy, clean, and worth it. Wish the balcony would have been slightly deeper, but it didn't stop me from spending A LOT of the out there!
Ship tip
Go when the weather is a little cooler. Middle of August is HOT.
Souvenir shopping was good here. Deals on "duty free" liquor really wasn't a deal, but t-shirts and trinkets were cheap. Again, alot of venders trying to get your business, not none so pushy to make me feel uncomfortable. Just stay in the tourist area to be safe. Also went parasailing for the 1st time here. Well organized and alot of fun.
Our snorkeling excursion was cancelled due to weather, so we rented a Jeep to drive to a beach. The one we went to was a little disappointing and driving on the island was crazy. We did enjoy the shopping and Senior Frogs. Venders tried hard, bit not that pushy in my opinion. We enjoyed the port.
Absolutely beautiful. Although it rained a bit, we were wet from swimming anyway. Gorgeous soft white sand, clear teal colored water. Free bbq was great. Don't plan an excursion here, just relax and enjoy the best beach you'll see.
