Review summary

My husband and went in this 8 day cruise without our teenagers, it was fantastic. This was a relaxation, slept in, had a spa day, lounged around the pool, tanned, and read a couple of book. We did dine your own time and it works better for us, we don’t go for the fancy dress up dinners, it’s just not our thing, not when you have to dress up for work all the time, this was a no make up no filters recharge cruise! We are gold members and can’t wait to get that silver card!!

Great Room; as usual it could be updated out of the 80’s a bit more. The tiny TV’s are outdated, can’t room movies from it, especially when it’s pouring rain, and you’d like to stay out of the casino. Beds when will the have real king beds, makes sexy time difficult when they come apart. Bathroom is like pretty much all the bathrooms on carnivals older ships. But we love carnival, flaws and all and will continue to keep coming back. Love the way make you feel when your on board and like the laid back atmosphere.

Ship tip

Have fun, and if docking in Galveston do faster to the fun, we were off in an about an hour that’s from leaving our room and carrying our own luggage off getting in shuttle and arriving at our car. Friends that went with us did not get faster to the fun and it took them 4+ hours to get off.
