Review summary

I guess it's because I sailed with one of the top cruise lines for my first cruise, I was a little disappointed with carnival. Avoid there seminars on how to shop at port. They will direct you to diamonds international and they are scammers. The jeweler you but there appraises for half of the price you pay. I feel like carnival is affiliated with di because of how much they push the company on you. The food was descent. Very disappointed by the entertainment with exception for the last night. My cabin was very dusty and the celling was rusted. Overall I don't think I will sail carnival again.

Very dusty, the sheets had a stain on them and the ceiling was rusted.

Probably anyone that complains about CARNIVAL need to stay off Carnival and let the FUN PEOPLE ENJOY It

We sailed the Freedom April 16th and we were very impressed with everything. Rooms were cleaned twice a day, stewards were amazing and always friendly and polite. Food was good, there is so much variety and different places everyone can find something they like. And we all thought the entertainment was great, especially cruise director Malcolm!

I agree about DI and their port shopping. I went one time and just skipped it on other cruises. In all my cruises with carnival I've never seen something not clean. I'm very picky and am always impressed. I've never sailed freedom but have one in july. We will see. I love carnival because of the casual atmosphere. guess that's why there are several different cruise lines. Different strokes for different folks.

We had our first cruise on the Carnival freedom in 2016. We were hooked from the very moment et we stepped aboard. We made a few rookie mistakes but learned many new things as well. The Freedom is by far our favorite ship to date. 3 cruises on her!
