Review summary

It was extremely relaxing and stress-free. Carnival is organized effectively and efficiently. Everything was taken care of and the instructions and information given out prior to the cruise was useful and specific. Service was stellar as our rooms were cleaned twice a day and/or to our discretion. Food was decent and always available.

Only complaint we have was that our shower drained was a bit clogged and water drained slowly.

Ship tip

Bring some cash to explore Jamaica. Transportation about of pier is unavoidable.

Oh wow! Thanks for that! I'm glad to know that. I love to cruise and was hoping my children and husband would enjoy it as much as I do so that we can plan many more trips as a family. I love carnival. Excited to eventually try the vista but I want to try magic after our cruise on freedom in November

It was my kids first cruise as well! But, had an amazing time and wanted to be in camp most of the time!! They get to do so much!

I have mine signed up for camp ocean good to know your kids enjoyed it. I was worried mine wouldn't as this will be their first cruise

We were on it 2weeks ago as well! Was such a relaxing time! My three kids and two of their friends and their parents were with my husband and I! Was a blast! My kids LOVED camp ocean! Us as parents loved it too! Felt like a vacation to ourselves at times! Miss the boat and the water and the drinks!!!!

I would love to go to Jamaica maybe my husband and i can do that one next after our family cruise in November. I Would love to try the vista but it's not porting out of Galveston yet

I have a friend I believe she's going in August with her two teenage daughters. This will be their first cruise. After my first I was hooked. I just came back from triumph to Cozumel in January. So I'm excited about my next one in November :)
