Review summary

I am sorry to say that my cruise was not what I anticipated. My mother fell disembarking the ship on Tuesday March 29 and that was the end of the cruise from there. She was in a wheelchair for the remainder of the cruise and I took care of her.

Also Montego Bay was a HUGE disappointment. I found out from our shopping expert that we got taken for a ride by our drivers as they did not take us to the designated shops that we were told they would.

I hope mom is doing better?  Thank you for a good balanced review that gave good grades to the good part of the trip.  Thoughts for a speedy recovery for mom.

Sad to hear your mother suffered an injury. I don't understand though how this would affect how you rated the cruise ship unless there was some negligence on their part that caused the injury. If you took a carnival excursion then you could have asked for a refund of sorts, but if it was through an independent tour company or a taxi then this shouldn't affect your rating of the Freedom ship. I just think it isn't fair to blame the cruise lines for something they had no control over.
