Review summary

This was our first cruise on Carnival and we were a bit hesitant about what to expect. Happily, our experience was totally positive! The ship was great, service stellar and the food better than our Royal Caribbean experience.

Ports of call

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

Friendly people, low unemployment, so much less poverty than the other islands on this trip. Snorkeled off the beach at Brewer's Bay. Not crowded and lots of fun!
Don't Miss: Loved everything! Our favorite island

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Toured the island in a local taxi bus with a great driver/guide. Went to Sapphire beach instead of the more popular Magen's Bay. Beautiful!!
Don't Miss: Drive to the mountain top

St. John's, Antigua

visited Turner's Beach which was an $8 cab ride (each way) and immaculately clean with powder sand. snorkel and chair rentals were available
Don't Miss: Turner's Beach

Nassau, Bahamas

dirty, smelly, too crowded

Pros: food, service, Tortola

Cons: Nassau
