Review summary

We got off at both ports (Catalina & Ensenada) to do excursions which in my opinion made the cruise. I did a lot of relaxing but there were a lot of entertainment options available to me. The dinner service wasn't great, but I found a few free restaurants that were. Even pay restaurants were not much. Nice first cruise!

Embarkation

The people who took me on the cruise were Platinum level, so I was very lucky and got to skip the line.

Service and Staff

Everyone who worked on the ship was so incredibly helpful sweet and kind. It was only a 4-day cruise and by the time I left they felt like family.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I loved the style of the ship's elevators and the way the flat screens worked instead of buttons. In my opinion it was way more efficient than traditional elevators. I was so impressed with our room attendant. She was a literal angel. She worked so hard to make sure we had anything and everything we wanted, and to clean a room twice a day so that everything was perfect and our beds were always made and tucked in. Common areas were always perfect there was never a time when I saw a piece of trash on the floor or food left behind.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a balcony cabin and it was perfect. The size was just fine for the three of us. I slept on the pull-out couch and it was extremely comfortable and I slept wonderful every night. It was so nice to be able to sit outside on the balcony and get some fresh air and lots of air into the cabin as well.

Ship tip

Maybe have some patience. They really pack people in. My next cruise is on Royal Caribbean so we'll see what happens.
