This was a much needed family cruise!! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We are planning our next one now!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
No issues here. We waited until our extended party arrived so we could all embark together and take a family photo. Despite our 3pm time, once everyone was there, we were able to embark.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Overall it was fine. The burgers at Guy’s burger joint was AMAZING!! The Blue Cantina has arepas, breakfast burritos, etc. The deli was great too! Specialty restaurants were nothing to write home about for breakfast but dinner was pretty good.
Alcohol is pretty expensive and are sodas. Juice comes with the breakfast as does iced tea, lemonade, coffee and water. My son said the milkshake machine wasn’t operable so that wasn’t cool because I got him the bottomless bubbles package.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The fitness center was good. I also did Zumba and used the walking track.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
I didn’t attend any. I was so tired after each day. My family enjoyed it though.
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
My son and his friend (15 and 16) enjoyed the teen club.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
One word - AMAZING!!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Everything was clean and well-maintained given the age of the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin size was much better than the last cruise I was one. The ocean view room was well worth it to see when we were pulling into the docks, etc.
Ship tip
It’s an older ship and the sound system isn’t the best but overall it does the trick. Our family of 19 had a blast without feeling cramped. We went ti coral
My mom was born and raised here and hadn’t been back in 40 years. We took the 90 minute windy road towards Soufriere so she could return home. We also did the Sulfur Springs.
Beautiful beaches. We went to the infamous Maho Bay beach and watched the planes land right over us. We danced on the stage and just had a wonderful time.
We chose a later disembarkation time because we weren’t flying out until the next day. The lines were really long. Thankfully but not really, my husband’s gout was acting up so he needed a wheelchair. Thatbgit us through the entire process in 5 mins. I would guess it would’ve taken 20-30.
