Review summary

Ship is old and food is of poor quality. We typically stay at resorts and decided to try a cruise. We will never cruise with Carnival again but may try a different cruise line. The boat/experience/food would be comparable to a 2 star resort.

Food was very poor. The only decent food was the burgers. We upgraded to steak and lobster one night and received about a 4oz lobster tail and 2-3oz filet. We had to pay $20 additional dollars for this.

I do t know why people say it was an older ship, then book a cruise on a new one (duh)

its reviews like this that confuse/scare me. i LOVE cruise food so when i hear complaints about it is it because portions were too small? wasn’t as fancy as four store restaurants? or because it was flat out nasty? if it tasted good that’s all that matters to me! also even though the boat is older is it still clean?

Loved the Fascination. Wonderful food, service, staff, and the best itinerary in the Caribbean. Any cruise is what you make it. See ya.
