Review summary

We chose the right places to visit but the storm damage and the economy cruise line dampened the trip a little.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth fast and easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food was average. The burgers and the burritos saved the buffet and gave good lunches. Deserts were never as good as we hoped. Dining room was better but not great.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Water slide was good but I only went once, but my daughter enjoyed it. Serenity (over 21) deck has dining room balcony above it so really serene. Bingo lady was absolutely obnoxious.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
The only shows we enjoyed were the comedians. I don't mind any show but these were the poorest of the 5-6 cruises we have been on.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Waiters were great. Room steward was quite and curteous

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Getting to the dining rooms was horrible. You must always go for and aft on another floor and then come up the stairs to them.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Same as other cruises before. No fridge however was disappointing since we were allowed to bring a 12 pack of soda

Ship tip

Don't go for the ship only for the itenerary of ports. Don't expect to ever disembark on an island on time. Always 30 minutes or more late

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

We stayed before and after. Nice Forts some neat beaches to see.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

3 out of 5
The best part of this is just going to the overlooks and getting a view. Beaches were all closed or it could have been rated higher

Bridgetown, Barbados

5 out of 5
Nice beach and you can snorkel with turtles. Big island with neat eastern shoreline

Castries, St. Lucia

5 out of 5
Beautiful lush rainforest island and you feel like it is still unspoiled. Beautiful Pitons that should be seen by boat and land.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

4 out of 5
The fort is amazing for its views. The drive around the island is nice. Black rocks are cool. Overall not that much to do.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

4 out of 5
Would have rated higher but Lots of storm damage still. Nice island easy to see

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy
