The cruise should have been cancelled. Money is the root of all evil!!! The guest that were picked up in BARBADOS should have never joined due to the uncertainty.. the management was not honest.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
The cruise should have cancelled this cruise and reimbursed their customers. In the midst of an impending hurricane 5 storm they decided to sail on. I felt like I was on a ship trying to out dodge a storm. The iternary was changed four times and even then the guest did not get to enjoy themselves due to the uncertainty of what was next. I've been on several cruises, some with carnival and the competitor Royal Caribbean and I must say your competitor has a business savvy that's incomparable. Lives before profit will always prevail. I will never travel with the Carnival Cruise line again.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The ship is old and must be taken off the water. . Water was dripping from the ceiling of my cabin.. the windows around t he ship were dirty.. the food was good. The staff is excellent. Carnival put their staff in awkward position. The drink bubbles package is too expensive.. however the themed drink of the day is an excellent feature..
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The shows were good..the pool is too small for a ship that wants to accommodate over 2000 guests. The spa and fitness center was superb.
Service and Staff

Thank goodness for the hardworking staff because management sucks!!!

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin windows were dirty.. the mattress was old and worn..flatter than a pancake. I had to request a new mattress.
Ship tip
Choose another ship and don't go during hurricane season. Management thinks because the made provisions for the guest its ok to sail..
That evil Carnival Cruise Line, how dare they committed $12,500,000.00 to the relief efforts for those affected by the recent hurricanes! God bless you Carnival keep up the great work!
