Review summary
We have been on this cruise three or four times and each time is better than the others. Now we no longer take shore excursions. We just get off the ship and take a taxi to a nice beach. This cruise was a good experience. Getting on the ship was very easy and made even simpler because of our 'gold' VIPF status on Carnival. We got into our cabins by 2 pm (for a 10 pm departure). My sister was very sick for the first two days of the cruise and the Cabin Attendant (Putu) and dining room staff went out of their way to make her comfortable and get her to eat. Planning on taking this cruise again next year.

Ship tip
I always bring too many clothes for this cruise and not enough bathing suits and cover ups. Make sure to bring enough toiletries like shampoo, conditioner etc. It's not easy to find good brands in the ship's gift shop or in the shops onshore.
