First time cruiser that wont cruise on the Fantasy again but will go cruising again for sure. Overall a good trip.

Food and Dining
2 out of 5
The food was not the best. Guys burgers and Blue Iguana were great. The Lido was good but not great. The Dining Room was terrible. The selections daily were odd and most of the time my food came out cold. You can get most of the same exact food at the Lido with the exception of the grilled items like steak. The steaks were ok but cheap cuts of meat. I was very disappointed by the food selections in the (your time) Celebration dining room.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
The pool, hot tubs and the water park were very tiny for the amount of people on board. The shopping was very limited and not too exciting.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The Fun Crew gets a big A++++ Pauly the cruise director was amazing and all of the entertainment was awesome!
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
Our waiter was not the best. It took a long time to get served in the celebration dining room and they really didn't attend to your needs. I was expecting excellent service and it was ok at best. Our room stewards were great. No complaints about them. They did an awesome job. The ship personnel were friendly enough.
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
The ship is old and needs updating. The elevators didn't work the entire time we were on the ship which caused us to use the stairs the entire trip which was very tiring and also inconvenient. They stayed in and out of maintenance the entire cruise starting when we boarded the ship. It made the stairs congested and hard to maneuver throughout the ship. I'm thankful that we could use the stairs. Had we not been able to physically I would never go on a cruise again. It was that bad.
Cabin / Stateroom

They are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! The cabin was awesome! Nothing to complain about there at all!
Ship tip
If you are disabled, choose a different ship and if you are in it for the food, choose another ship.
Definitely don’t judge Carnival based one cruise on an old ship during the busiest week of the year. Try a newer ship during the off season for a much better experience.
