We took 3 first-time cruisers with us and they loved it. This cruise included 5 ports in 8 nights. There was only 1 night that it rained, so we had beautiful weather throughout the week. The ports were all beautiful and the seas were very calm, too. You just can't get enough of the blue waters in the Caribbean. It's breathtaking! I will sail on the Fantasy again, especially out of Mobile, AL!
Embarkation

Best ever! We walked into the port in Mobile, AL, went through security, walked up to check in and walked onto the boat. Never stopped, waited or sat down. Less than 10 minutes total.

Friendly, welcoming, always striving to do their best to serve you. Love that they remembered our names from day One.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Love the design of this smaller ship - easy to get around quickly. Common areas were very clean. I woke up early to watch the sun rise, and they were out cleaning everything from the deck to handrails.

Ship tip
You'll love the "resort style" pool with all the palm trees over the pool. You get a feeling that you're really at a resort. As an older, smaller ship, it still has beautiful architecture/designs and I love the all marble staircase in the Atrium. Very elegant.
LOVED this port. It was so beautiful with perfectly manicured walkways and a huge beach that easily accommodated the 2 cruise ships that day. There were plenty of loungers (shaded, too) for everyone. We loved the beach, ocean was clean, and we could walk back 5 min. to the ship for lunch, then back to the beach again!
We only shopped in the cruise port area and found some really great deals! (On a previous cruise, we took the shuttle 3 miles to Progreso and we were hassled by sellers so much that we never wanted to come back.)
Very organized!! Best Disembarkation in the past 8 cruises. The Carnival staff made announcements of how/when and then actually stayed in the area to enforce the instructions so it was not chaotic. Walked off the ship by 8:20 and was outside of Customs before 8:30.
