Review summary
Over all it was a great experience. The service was the best, as always with a cruise. The ship was good, I just didn't like that we were in the front and the food was all the way in the back, so we did a lot of walking back and forth. Comedy and dance shows were good, esp loved the Motown show! First excursion was Nassau, we didn't get one offered through the cruise, instead we grabbed a taxi, went over the bridge, and went to the "free" beach right beside Atlantis. The taxi ride cost 4$pp, so not so bad, but then you're getting harassed the whole time (buy this, take a jet ski, wanna chair) a chair and umbrella was 40$ and 2 bottles of water was 7$. Still not as much as a real excursion would have been, but the harrassment was crazy! But the water was beautiful! We did a cruise offered excursion in Freeport, the beach getaway. The beach and the ppl working were awesome! The water wasn't as clear as Nassau but no harrassment which made up for it! Over all we enjoyed this cruise. Oh, ps if you have kids younger than 2, camp carnival only keeps them for like 20 minutes all day so we had to go to all the "family friendly" shows since we didn't have anyone to keep the kids. That was a bummer since I specifically asked to make sure camp carnival was offered for her. But either way for the most part it was enjoyed by our whole group. Thanks again carnival!
