The staff was amazing. I loved how they greeted you of the morning was wonderful made my day. The ship director was awesome he was great to watch and really got you going. Thank you guys for making our first cruise great.

I was very excited to go on this cruise mainly because of the upgrades the ship had recently received. We were on Paradise in November which is an almost identical ship, so I was so happy to see how nicely this ship was upgraded because based on the Paradise, they were due. The new restaurants were great and of course Waterworks was awesome! The best for me was our cabin, funny because we do not spend much time in there but it was an amazing cabin and if you get a chance for a scenic ocean view cabin go for it!

Its an older, smaller ship. It does not necessarily have all the glitz of the newer larger ships but it has a great staff and plenty to do. Our family of 3 enjoyed our cruise on the Carnival Elation. My husband and I have cruised on NCL in the past and although we prefer NCL we did have a lot of fun on the Elation. The ship is older but has gone through some renovations. We did have an issue with the toilet in our cabin not flushing but it was taken care of immediately. The service was wonderful and we were all able to find activities that we enjoyed. Carnival ships do have a reputation for being "party ships" but they are also an affordable option for young families as well. We are not big drinkers, we did not spend late nights in the bar and we were back in our stateroom by midnight. We did not find the other travelers to be crazy drunk.

Took this cruise expecting it to be mediocre and it lived up to expectations. Originally scheduled it to take our granddaughter for the 1st cruise but she had to cancel so we went anyway. The type of person this cruise caters to does not meet our expectations as far as class. It's "party til you puke".

Beautiful ship and the staff is so friendly. Hate there were messy people that made the staff work more than they really had to.

The entertainment was great, sometimes had to wait 20-45 minutes to sit and eat in the Imagination dining roim.

Plenty to do on the ship. Great shows and loved the comedy club. Almost anything you want to eat.

Will NEVER use this port again & also the swimming pool was disgusting & filthy

The cruise in general was nice. Our room steward Dewa did a great job with restocking towels and keeping the room clean. The new waterworks was a great addition for kids. The only complaint I have is the Lido deck dining food. The food was mediocre at best. Most days we ate at Guy’s Burger or the Pizza place. The breakfast was nice but lunch and dinner each day was not.

The cruise was a great experience with my husband. We were entertained throughout our time but had a chance to have quiet moments together too. We will be rebooking!!!

We had a fantastic trip, the crew was amazing and it was absolutely beautiful!

I was extremely disappointed w/photo service and desperately wanted to buy pics. I couldn't find my pics and asked for assistance but they pointed " look over there". Informed staff couldn't find still rcvd' no help. Highly discouraged, left without purchasing any at all!!!!!!!

We had a fantastic time! The staff was beyond friendly and took the time to know our names. The ship was clean and plenty of activities were available. I liked Bingo and the murder mystery. Food was excellent as well. The main dining room food was great, as was the burger place. The taco place was ok...salsa bar was not refilled often. Half Moon Cay was beautiful. They were out of snorkel gear to rent even though we were one of the first tenders on the island. Next time we will plan differently. On Nassau I highly recommend the VIP sailing/lunch/snorkel tour...it was worth every penny. Overall the Elation was great and we cannot wait to return. The only minor complaints are that they need more electricity outlets and trash cans in the common areas, although there is a nice charging station near the coffee bar.

Overall our trip was amazing. The staff we did meet was amazing. The comedy shows was my favorite on board event. Bingo was fun.

We cruised on the Elation. It was fabulous had a great time the upgrades they did on the ship was outstanding. We stayed on the 14th deck which is the new deck they added, we had some great views from up there. The cruise director Melissa was awesome yes I would cruise on her again.

The ship was okay. The upgrades are nice but I will say our room steward Dewa (Room E219, Deck 7), was not nice. He introduced himself on the first day and automatically said that he only would be cleaning the room once a day. Previous cruises that Ive been on have a steward that cleans the room once in the morning and once in the evening or afternoon. Dewa only cleaned the room once on the first day that same day I had a birthday cake in my cabin and when he came to clean the room he threw my scarf and the silverware napkin on to the cake. From then on out he never greeted us or anything and always threw our belongings onto the vanity. The service just wasn’t the best. This cruise is not the best for teens! The ship got really boring after the first two days. I did enjoy the Diva Show and the Comedy club, also our Inspiration dining was great!

Best experience I could have asked for! Staff was superb and always cleaning or fixing something to ensure a great time for all.

We just completed our trip to the Bahamas on the elation, and we were quite happy with our trip. Great little ship! Our ONLY complaint is that we could really feel the boat moving the last couple of days, even with amazing weather. Most likely due to smaller size of boat. We loved the staff, everyone was amazing and smiling and helpful and friendly! We enjoyed getting to know fellow cruisers, and were impressed that our trip was not a booze-fest. Very family oriented. Thoroughly enjoyed our excursion to balmoral island at Nassau. We highly recommend swimming with dolphins, the staff are educated and friendly and it was a lot of fun! Just be prepared to pay extra for pics and food/drinks on the island. We knew what to expect going in so we’re weren’t shocked. The beach was beautiful and weather was amazing. Plenty of chairs for all!! The food on the boat was awesome. We went to the dining room every night. I recommend doing “your time dining” so no pressure to show up at a specific time. We never had to wait either. Dining staff very friendly and generous, you can order as much as you like, very high quality. The other food options on board were more casual, but just as good. We enjoyed Guys burgers for lunch, and occasionally the lido deck for breakfast. Don’t forget there’s a “free” room service menu if you can’t make it to a meal on time. If you aren’t in a hurry, we recommend doing the check luggage on the day you leave the boat, and sticking around for a quiet breakfast in the dining room. You don’t have to fight any crowds that way. Very nice. The entertainment was nice, we just wish they had left some of the “under 18” stuff up to the parents discretion. I had a teenager with me and we would have liked to see some of the “older” shows but couldn’t. We enjoyed karaoke every night, some of the musical shows with very talented casts, and the comedy shows. Half moon cay was amazing! Didn’t need an excursion! Go early, get a good chair, rent a clamshell so you don’t die of sun poisoning. :) you will eat a lot on this cruise, so don’t bother with the elevators. Take the stairs! Be prepared to stand in a customs line for several hours when getting off the boat, the only way to avoid this is to PAY A PORTER. They work for tips. DO IT. I gave him a 10 for our two bags and it took us 15 mins instead of 2+ hours to get through customs. This was the one thing I felt they didn’t explain to us. But otherwise, 5 stars! Will definitely be cruising again! Thanks!

We enjoyed this vacation very much. The ship was clean. The food was good and the staff were very friendly. The only negative I and several other passengers had was the air conditioning in the cabins and the refrigerator. We didn’t rest well because the room stayed so warm. We had brought 12pks aboard and purchased bottled water to keep cold in our cabin. The refrigerator never got them cold. We asked about it and he said it’s not like the refrigerators at home. Basically, sorry they won’t get cold. So, if you can handle a hot room and hot cokes/water in your cabin, then you will enjoy. The rest of the vacay was wonderful!!
