Review summary

I was very excited to go on this cruise mainly because of the upgrades the ship had recently received. We were on Paradise in November which is an almost identical ship, so I was so happy to see how nicely this ship was upgraded because based on the Paradise, they were due. The new restaurants were great and of course Waterworks was awesome! The best for me was our cabin, funny because we do not spend much time in there but it was an amazing cabin and if you get a chance for a scenic ocean view cabin go for it!

We purchased the faster to the fun because we knew travelling in the summer would mean long lines. Surprisingly friends of ours who did not purchase the FTF pass made it on the ship only a few minutes after us. My only complaint is the building we were in prior to board was completely open to the outside and only fans for cooling off. Previously we sailed out of Tampa and that was a much nicer terminal all indoors in AC.

Service and Staff

As usual, the service was amazing with the exception of ladies night in the Jekyl & Hyde lounge, the bartenders were difficult to get their attention. But that was the only exception, everyone on this ship was amazing! Jagat on Lido, Gener and Ajun in the dining rooms, Mayura our steward, and then all who were involved in our Chef's table experience, Jackie, Boo, Melvin and unfortunately I didn't catch the last chef's name. Great, great, great!

We were lucky to book the scenic ocean view cabin on the 14th floor in the front of the ship! Amazing cabin and views!! Even room service commented on how nice it was!

Ports of call

Jacksonville, Florida

I did not care for the terminal, not enough of it was inside an air conditioned space and it was incredibly hot in Jacksonville when we left.

Nassau, Bahamas

Very beautiful island and all the island people we interacted with were great! We found an awesome tour guide when we got in the port. He took our group of 8 in an van tour of the island, the Queens Staircase, Atlantis and then we ended at Cabbage Beach. Beautiful and hot day. It was 102 with humidity!

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

This was definitely the most beautiful island we visited this trip. Calm waters, white sandy beaches and plenty of chairs to lounge on the beach. It was nice that we saw our servers from the ship on the island, Jagat rocks! We asked him about a souvenir wooden mug like thing that a family member received on a prior visit, he said that he did not have them today but they would on Wednesday. Sure enough, the next day on the Lido Deck as soon as we walked out, Jagat found us and brought us the mug we were looking for!
