Usually, the bigger boats offer more but are more expensive. They are all pretty much the same though. You will come across exceptional staff to mediocre. Some bartenders are really fun, others are dull. Sometimes the entertainers are not your style and other times they are, but this is usually individual staff that you should rate (bad or good) so that the Carnival operation will know about them because the overall Carnival operation reflects by the majority of their staff, which are great. There will always be a dud here and there.

Why? The Elation is fabulous. It's better to cruise off season.

I just got off the Elation Sat, and I will say it did not live up to everything I have been told about cruising. And you're the second comment I read that wasn't entirely happy. We booked a second cruise with Carnival on a different boat to see if that makes a difference. Keeping my fingers crossed that it was just a fluke.
