Review summary

This was a excellent cruise for the family! Our steward Aovert is outstanding, very friendly & helpful! The entertainment was amazing and we loved the music and dance parties!! I was very disappointed that our pre-paid Ultimate Snorkel & Beach Safari was cancelled and we found out 2 days before the excursion which did not allow us enough time to explore other options. We were not interested in doing any of the other excursions on the brochure and was desperately trying to find something similar to the Ultimate Snorkel & Beach Safari to do during the Nassau port of call. The excursion desk on the ship was NOT helpful and the Wifi was too slow to even be useful.

I was on a cruise a few years back and not only did our excursion that we had booked get cancelled but we were diverted to an entirely different port with about 8 hours notice. But, you gotta roll with the punches and make the best of it. It didn’t ruin our cruise but it did give me a reason (as if I needed one!) to sail again and get to that port that I missed.

Yes it is too bad when plans don't work out. It must have been out of Carnival's hands because they would have loved to take your money. So did you find something to do?

I wish I had two days notice of cancellation. We got a note under the door the morning of. Now that's not enough time to plan another one.....but we went off the ship and still found an excursion to do at one of the kiosks. This was for Amber Cove this past May. We leave in 2 weeks again. Not to the same ports though. We always plan ahead but it doesn't always go as planned. Some times you have to wing if! We still had a blast! Hopefully you can do that excursion another time.
