Carnival Elation

4 Night Bahamas (Port Canaveral Roundtrip)

Sail date: November 30, 2006

Ship: Carnival Elation

Cabin type: Oceanview

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 14 years ago

Review summary

Ship needs better signs for passengers to move around. Many times we were confused as were lots of others trying to find various venues. Cabin was good, steward did fine job. Room service was by far the best on any cruise.

Ports of call

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

1 out of 5
Long ride to town. The weather was marginal and most activites related to boating were cancelled. The locals we met were nicer than many other places.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Straw market and Bay St. shopping area surprisingly rundown. Atlantis is quite a place, worth a look see, and your driver can take you a side trip through the neighborhoods in Nassau.
