The employees, for the most part were friendly, professional and the dinner staff were most accomodating and friendly. The ship and all areas were clean, bathrooms were kept immaculate. Room service was prompt. The Filipino band in Romeo and Juliet lounge were great, when they sang a song they sounded like the original artist.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
the food was average. The presentation of food in the dinning areas was excellent, however the taste was often bland. For those who paid the lowest fare for the cruise, it was a deal. For those who paid a much higher fare and are used to fine dining, you could tell the difference.

We had a serviceman dining at our table home from leave in Iraq. I asked the ass't director if he couldn't make a comment at the evening show or bingo to acknowledge our servicemen, something that is done here in Palm Beach County at differnt events. The Ass't director was actually rude in his response and lacked total PR. and the answer was no. The next evening before dinner I asked the matre d to acknowledge the servicemen during his little presentation and he was more emphatic but better at PR.
This angered me to no extent because if something happened at sea, it would be the US serviceman that would come to our rescue. Its not political, its moral and decent. The Crown Princess was docked along side us in Grand Turk and their guests told us that the servicemen aboard were recognized and acknowledged. It made them feel proud
We had a bad experience During our tour to St. John's.Our particular bus had seventeen passengers from the same family and 4 couples who only spoke english. the family was loud rude and obnoxcious. At the first stip we told the tour director and asked if he would speak to our driver. He was new to the job and didnot. after three other stops we told the driver who agreed with us and asked those guests to please keep the noise level down. Instead the guests grew angry, and retaliated with screeching and loud laughter and shouting in their language. They picked not only the fruit, but took whole branches off the trees in the former sugar cane plantation park. They took their time in the rest room and this gave our group only 15 minutes at the beach instead of 45 minutes. none of us signed up for tours through the ship again.
Pros: The spacious cabins, the spa/gym/ the whole exercise deck.
Cons: the quality of the food was mediocre. the rules in the dinning room was not adhered to. Teen boys ate with a cap on, certain evenings some men attended dinner in shorts and were not asked to leave.
