Carnival Ecstasy

5 Night Bahamas (Charleston Roundtrip)

Sail date: February 25, 2019

Ship: Carnival Ecstasy

Traveled as: Large Group

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Review summary

I would not recommend this ship. Having cruised many times, this is by far the worst one. The ship itself is very old and dated. A lot of repairs need to be done. The pool is small and the hot tubs have been scrubbed so many times that the finish is worn completely off. The Lido buffet has as very small offering. With the ship being so small, there was not a lot to do.

Overall, the cabin was okay. The cabin was cleaned only once a day.

Ship tip

The Ecstasy is a very small, old ship. There is not a lot to do on board. The ship shows signs of its age. Equipment is old and worn. The leather seats in the auditorium are ripped. The buffet in the Lido deck is very limited. Guys Burgers was very good.

You have to realize that you chose one of the oldest ships in the carnival Fleet it is almost 30 years old.

I sailed on this ship about 2 years ago. I thought the same thing , I will definitely pick a different ship from here on out.
