We left the Charleston, SC port and traveled to Free port that trip was very good and positive. Then our trip from the Port to the Private beach was very good, the female tour guide provided a lot of information related to the island, and to the Bahamas. We had the beach and unlimited drinks package, however the patrons of the bar where 10 times more interested in serving those with cash then they were in serving those with bracelets on. While on our trip to Princess Cays I guess the maintenance team determined there was a clogged pipe, because at 1:30 am they roto rootered the near by pipes, not a pleasant way to wake up, however they were at least fast. We arrived at Princess Cays and spent almost all day taking in the island, I did notice that our return water shuttle did not have any life vest, not that I was worried or need one, just an observation. We then traveled home and that was a very smooth journey. All in all I would strongly recommend a car vial cruise to anyone, and I'm strongly incurring my family who travel to Vegas a few times a year to peruse a different option. Lastly I think the airline customs officers could learn a lesson or two from the ones who handled our on and off boarding process.
Embarkation

Everything went really smooth. As a suggestion I think you should tell folks upfront why the rooms are not available until 1:30. I like many others did not know why until end of cruise.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food options were spot on, and the food was very good! The hamburgers were probably the best I've ever had. I think the captain and staff should also have a casual night for those that didn't venture to the formal dinner.
Onboard Activities

Comedy Club, Bingo, The Rock show, and the Other music show.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Your staff is amazing, the work their tails off. Our alcohol waiter was literally everywhere we where, he was great guy. Likewise our room steward Fernado (might be spelled wrong) was amazing, and he was always working, but always smiling and happy. I manage a software development team and I wish my team had as much desire to give 150% as your entire team does. Not sure what the carnival secret is, but in my world desire is much more valuable then brains.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Once we figured it out I liked it and everything seemed to make sense. Everything was clean, the ship was a little stressed, but that is expected seeing as how it was 28 years old.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The bed and pillows were very comfortable, got a better night sleep there then I normally do at home on our Tempurpedic mattress. The floor in the bathroom seemed like it might give out at any moment, it didn't but it certainly did show signs of previous repairs.
Ship tip
Meet your neighbors, and don't be afraid to try something different.
The port was good however the folks who split us into groups and prepared us for the bus trips really did not seem like they had done that previously. Also I'm now a little surprised the state department had changed there status on the Bahamas last week prior to this port excursion and yet NOTHING at port or prior was ever mentioned...This specific port was 1 of 2 in the State departments reasoning for why the change was made?
