Review summary

This was a nice cruise for the price. We made it relaxing by not doing any excursions, so no time tables to stick too. The lack of daytime entertainment on the days at sea was a big downer. However at night when we were able to catch some of the entertainment, it was fantastic. We would do this cruise again but bring family/friends and plan for things to do like cards or games during the day at sea.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Was good, but confusing. As you step foot on the ship it was crowded and no one giving directions where to go or what to do.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Dining rooms and food were spectacular.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Spent 2 full days at sea and nothing to do during the day... unless you wanted to spend money. Any daytime activities were seminars that were more like infomercials. There were no shows or entertainment during the day, only at dinner time and the few hours following.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shows and comedians were fantastic but they only occurred in the evening when everything else was happening

Children's Programs

Didn't have kids with me, so I did not partake

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Windows were filthy. Made it difficult to enjoy the views. Drain would back up from shower into bathroom area

Ship tip

Take cards or other board games with you to occupy your time during days at sea

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina

4 out of 5
It was easy to get thru onto and off of the ship

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

4 out of 5
Port was nice but taxi cost pricey to the mall/beach area.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Wonderful time on this island. It was like a private beach party since only our ship passengers were there. Would have been nice to know we could venture beyond the fence to try some local beers.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Crowded and long process. As we were waiting to enter customs, we were kept outside next to equipment (tending to the ship) were constantly beeping at a high pitch tone that was painful and annoying.

I love to get a chair in the shade and just relax watching the waves go by
