Embarkation was fast, food in dining room was BAD, main stage show performers were BAD, clean interior of ship but can hardly see out of any window on board because they are so dirty, ports were good, convenient to leave from Charleston.

The main formal dining room food was not good at all. It was pretty bad. The service was ok. It seemed like it was every server in the formal dining rooms first night or something.
We decided to just eat in the buffet for every meal as it was good. They kept that area very clean and everyone was professional.

The stage show was BAD. Poor performers tried but not much you can do if they lack the talent! Comedians were ok.

Room Stewards only cleaned our room once per day and it was later in the afternoon. This is my 6th cruise with various cruise lines and by far this cabin service just plain sucked. As I said previously the main formal dining room crew service was not good either. I visited the Guest Services Desk 3 times and eveery time got an incorrect answer to my questions. They were very disappointing and gave very bad advice, actually and how I should sterilize a netti pot since apparently, according to them, there are NO microwaves about the ship. I later talked to the ships doctor and he laughed and said he knew that was false statement.

It's an old ship so its that design but the ship is clean but very rusted on the exterior and needs painting badly. Also all of the windows were filthy except in the buffet dining room.

Ship tip
It's convenient to catch from Charleston and for first time cruisers but there are a lot better ships out there.
I was expecting Nassau to be a little cleaner than other ports I've visited in the Caribbean but NO, it is not. Lots of trash blowing around. It's ashamed that such a beautiful place can be trashed like that. Of course Atlantis is kept emasculate.
Sorry you had a poor experience. Carnival doesn’t have microwaves available for passengers (maybe the doctor had access or other crew). Glad you enjoyed your ports of call.
