Review summary

We had a fun time. I think the prices for everything are crazy! I know they want you to buy a "drink package"., but my husband doesn't drink and I was required to buy the package for every adult in my cabin. That wasn't quite fair. So they rape you on the prices when you get there. Same with the excursions. $200 just to go to the beach!! That did not included lunch or drinks!? I think our next trip will be an all inclusive resort. At least the drinks and beach is included in the price.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The main dining hall's food was okay. The service was poor, so we ended up eating at the buffet the last 3 nights

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
There were lots of activities to do. I think the children's programs need improvement. I did not feel comfortable leaving my children in the camps they had available. Pool was nice, but small. Hot tubs were always too full for me to even try them out.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The ships shows were really good. We especially enjoyed the comedians

Children's Programs

2 out of 5
I thought the programs were understaffed and the teen programs were a joke. I checked them out for both of my kids and decided they were better off not being there. The teen in the teen room were rude and using profanities while I'm standing there checking my child in.

Service and Staff

our room steward was fantastic. They did a great job. Our waiter in the main dining hall was rude and acted like we were intruding on his plans. We only went twice and decided we would eat at the buffet for the remaining nights.

Cabin / Stateroom

clean, the beds were very comfortable. The cabin was really small with 4 people. But we were barely there.

Ship tip

I would advise you to plan on spending at least $1,000 more that the price of your cruise. I bought 2 drinks onboard and it was $45! Plus the wifi was extra, and abunch of other things that you would think was included in your initial price.

We tried to walk to the beach, but it was really dirty. The people vying for you attention are overwhelming. We should have taken a ferry to a better beach, but by the time we realized half the day was gone. We ended up shopping all day. It was good.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

We did a very expensive beach excursion on this day. $50 per person...so for our family of 4 it cost me $200 just to get to the beach and back to the ship. The beach was fantastic. We bought a drink while there and it was $14 for one tiny drink. Not a great deal.

Disembarkation

They shut off all of the elevators. We had no checked luggage. We were carrying all of our stuff off the ship. We were told to drag it all downstairs....only to be told we had to wait. Then after I insisted that we had another party waiting for us who were already off the boat. We were allowed to drag our stuff down 2 more flights of stairs
