Unfortunately, this cruise spoiled Carnival for us. I don’t think we’ll use their lines again. I wouldn’t recommend them to friends. Was a very disappointing first cruise when we’ve heard wonderful things about other lines from our friends

Cabin was very clean, but we paid extra for the ocean view and couldn’t see it. The outside of the window was extremely dirty, even in embarkation port!

Ship tip

When kids bang on the doors at 2am, step out and give them a good scare... they quit...

Beautiful, but it’s also a tourist trap! Have to be careful where you go and have to encounter peddlers everywhere!

Disembarkation

We had priority debarkation...lolololololol!!!!!! We were traveling with my mother who is mobility impaired. We waited 45 minutes for help with bags. Porters skipped by us to help people with more bags... it was a mess!

Shame you did not enjoy your cruise you wait so long for it to come up then disappointed..they do not have microwaves in the MDR so the food is definitely not microwaved ... as we know the Matrde on the spirit... hope you send your food back and spoke to the Matrde regarding your food. Any other concerns I would have had the manager from house keeping up and explained the issues you had with your cabin. The long lines in To leave is some thing some ports are good at and some suck ... Hope your next cruise is better regardless of who you cruise with ......

I've been on the Conquest, Ecstasy, Triumph, Miracle, Freedom twice and going on the Valor this summer. Each one was a little different, I am also trying RCCL for Christmas so I am not just a Carnival person

I also had a not so great experience on ecstasy in February out of Charleston my room was really gross and we ended up skipping the dining room because the food was cold. If I hadn’t already booked the sunshine which we went on this past November I would’ve given up on Carnival. But the sunshine really made a difference for us. So don’t want the one ship get you down.
