Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining was a nightmare, we had to wait to get a pager and then wait to be paged to be seated, seems as if they were very short staffed

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Couples message was great... not very many activities going on, on the lido deck, nightly entertainment wasn’t very professional...

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Stage shows were not that great, Some of the members cannot sing in rock ‘n’ roll show they had was horrible we walked out of it and even a couple crew members in white said that it wasn’t very good...

Children's Programs

No kids

Our room stewards Gene and Su was excellent , were amazing and we love them both They went above and beyond to make sure that we had a comfortable cruise and was there for our every need.

Was a little disappointed with Aruba not at all what I pictured it to be and what I had seen on television We took the bus tour which was OK seems like he took us all through the ghettos the best thing if it was the natural Bridge

Yeah we said we will look at this cruise as a relaxation and reading cruise. Keeping our expectations low so we can enjoy ourselves & not expect too much since it is an old ship.

I wouldn't be nervous. Be prepared to go with the flow. We still had a great time and made the best of the cruise. Remember: cruising is better than working!

@mare2657 thanks for your quick response! And thanks for your honesty! We’re suppose to do 12 days next year. 5 ports and the rest sea days. It had the best itinerary than any ship in a decent driving range. We are both a little nervous about it.😬

Honestly, nothing special at all about the cruise.

No compensation other than port fees and taxes. We also love sea days, but would have preferred better replacement Porta considering it was supposed to be a "special" cruise (read: Journeys)

@mare2657 did you get any kind of compensation for lack of ports? We are taking a journey cruise on the ecstasy next year and a little nervous about it. We mainly chose our cruise for the port options, if they change it can you cancel? I love sea days (they’re my fav), but I’m not sure I would love that many on this ship.

I was on this cruise. It was supposed to be 5 sea days and 5 ports. Due to hurricanes, it was changed to 6 sea days and 4 ports. While on the ship, it changed, again, to 7 sea days and 3 ports. NOT A TROLL review. Elevators were broken. Food was meh at best.

7 days at seas? How is that possible? You know prior to booking you can see the itinerary, right? I’m reluctant to book more than 1 day at sea, God forbid 7 days
