Review summary

It was our first time on Carnival and may be our last. 7 out of 10 days at sea on a rocking horse ship was just too much. The crew was nice but the time at sea took a toll. The staff, you could tell at times, didn’t seem to really get along with each other. The food was very lacking, tasteless and the same most days. Thank goodness for Guys Burger joint!

With the acception of Guys burgers, everything else was kind of bland. The “chocolate feast”’was a joke, very small table and huge lines. The buffet was the same almost every day, again bland food. The dinner wait was extreme. It almost always took and hour to 2 hours to eat as service was very slow. Food quality was hit and miss at best.

Geared toward the Casino, and due to smoking in there we couldn’t stand it.

Loved Mark, our cabin attendant. Gary the cruise director was awesome also, and Bogdan the Maitre’D in the dining room was the best!!

Bring your Dramamine... I have never been seasick but was on this ship, it rocks like a rowboat

Did you just get off the 10 night cruise? I’ve been wanting to hear from people who did journey cruises on the ecstasy. We’re doing a journey cruise on the ecstasy next year and was nervous about it.

There's a reason fares are cheaper this time of year... you've got MORE of a chance of encountering rough seas or a hurricane! If a "rocking horse ship" is a problem for you then I would strongly suggest that for your NEXT cruise you NOT book during hurricane season. Carnival has no control over the condition of the ocean.
