Review summary

This cruise was a very special time in our lives. Our oldest child had just gotten married the Saturday b4 we boarded. It was his honeymoon also his mother and all her sisters were finally going to get to be on a vacation together 4 the 1st time in their lives. Out of the 11 people in our group only 4 of us had ever cruised before & we built it up to the other 7 only to be so disappointed with the entire thing. It was to hot in several of the cabins, the food wasn't good, there wasn't a variety of food like the other cruise lines. The smell sometimes was horrid & we felt like everything was overpriced. The drink packages need working on. If it's supposed to be bottomless bubbles then why is,it shut down at 10 & u have to continue to pay money to room service if you are thirsty or just go without.... this being my 4th cruise it was the worst cruise I've ever taken. 95% of the people aboard were great 5% though can ruin the opinion of guests. Our entire group was so let down & because we built it up thinking it would be as amazing as the other cruises we have been on and other cruise lines, we felt so bad for our son and daughter n law & the rest of the extended family and friends that also went with us.

The main dining room was OK, other than that I was very disappointed in everything else. Not much of variety. The drink package was bottomless bubbles & this was not the case. We couldn't get anything after 10 or until 8 unless it was room service which was an added cost. This is not the case on the other cruise lines we have been on.

Probably my most favorite thing about this entire cruise was the comedian Chris Wyles.. he had our whole entire group rolling.. we laughed & had a terrific time when he was on stage.

Cabin / Stateroom

The overall comfort was less than 1. It was way to hot & after about 5 complaints, we were finally given a fan, even then it was to hot.. the room was very wellittle cleaned tho we have no complaints on the cabin steward

Ship tip

Don't.. point blank.. I said the entire time on it .. it was the 1st and the last.. Carnival in our entire groups opinion overcharges on everything from drinks to pictures & doesn't compare to other cruise lines as far as how they treat the passengers
