Review summary

Cruising if a very relaxing way to experience a lot of different things without breaking the bank. My kids were able to do their own thing. They really enjoyed the soft serve and cheeseburgers all day long;)

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Everyone was very helpful in directing the masses. Never being on a cruise and not knowing to what to expect the staff made sure we ended up where we needed to be. It was very easy to start having fun right away.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was delicious and staff and service was great. The one thing I was surprised about was there was no sweet tea. I think I did however have one of the best Pina Colada I had ever had on this vacation.

Onboard Activities

Children's Programs

My kids did not attend the children's programs

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Waiters were great. Our room steward was AWESOME. We joked we wanted to bring Gede home with us:) The Cruise director was very fun and Bar tenders knew their trade. I had the pleasure of experience of a 100 min spa treatment. I cant wait to come back.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The boat was spotless. The bed was comfortable. There was someone cleaning or doing maintenance all the time. I was a little confused at how not all decks connect across the boat. by the end of the week I was getting the hang of it.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Everything was clean and comfortable.

Ship tip

I would recommend bringing with you about 50 dollars in 5's and 1's for tipping when you get off the boat. I also recommend the unlimited bubbles package. Well worth the money.

Ports of call

Charleston, South Carolina

Charleston port is a well oiled machine.

Nassau, Bahamas

We did the Atlantis excursion. There was a lot of walking to get from the boat to the buses and the blacktop was not even. You had to really be careful not to fall. There was a lady who trip and fell right in front of us. She broke her arm, I felt so bad for her and her family. My kids have watched commercials for Atlantis for years. It was neat that we could experience Atlantis. Next time we go to Nassau we will probably snorkel.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

4 out of 5
We did the all inclusive beach day. It was fun. Food and drinks were good. Beach was beautiful. We had a great day.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We carried our luggage off the boat and left at 7:30am this helped make the disembarkation very smooth. If you leave earlier the lines for customs are much shorter.

My 9 year old grandson is a gold card holder. He will be taking cruise# 9 next summer. He love the all day Ice cream and cheeseburgers

Not just for kids. Even at my age, soft serve and cheeseburgers all day sounds good (lol).

I say Yes, to soft serve & cheeseburgers, doing my own thing, and not breaking the bank. Nice!
