Review summary

The cruise was definitely downgraded compare to my previous cruises. I wouldn't be booking with Carnival again. The ports we visited were so poor and packed with the souvenir shops. There was nothing to see, and I didn't go there to do shopping. All I wanted ,was to see the cities and have some time by the ocean.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
I liked the restaurant , however I was surprised that i had to pay for the herbal tea. It wasn't like that before. Also, the breakfast menu was the same for the whole trip. Didn't like the buffets much. The food was usually overcooked and dry.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Pools and the surrounding areas were always packed with people.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our server's assistant, Andrii, was very attentive to our needs and was very knowledgeable about the food ingredients.

Ship Quality

The cleaning crew was great. Their manager, Pasa, was very helpful.

Ship tip

I'm not sure I would give any tips, because most likely I wouldn't be booking with Carnival again.

The ports are poor...... I was in Amber Cover and the port was expensive which is a stark contrast to the way people live.

Book some excursions while in port. You'll see plenty of beautiful things.

Canaveral, Everglades, and Miami have most itinerary options

when cruising out of Charleston, you are very limited on destinations. There's pretty much Bahamas and Burmuda. If you were to travel to Florida next time, you will have more and better options of islands but those islands will pretty much be the same no matter what cruise line you go with. So have fun on another cruise line.

Perhaps you should consider a different cruise line.
