Review summary

Not my favorite trip. Probably would not recommend to anyone. Carnival is lacking in their dining options to include food and attire, however service in the dining room was great. Ship smelled like sewer.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food is not what is used to be. However Guys burgers and fries were the best anywhere. Main dinner ngvroom needs to stick with dress code. Fine dining was undesirable due to most of the passengers attire.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Very limited.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Entertainment was horrible. One good guy who played and sang by the shore excursions desk was great. All others were horrible.

Children's Programs

Did not use.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
For the most part everyone was great except for an Asian bar tender near the guest relations desk. She was very unfriendly. Not even a smile.

Ship Quality

Well, Yes the burgers are good and the fries are cooked just right too. Before we decide on the personality of the staff on the ship, I try to understand many things, like how long have they been on the ship or are they having a bad day ( we have them too, but we're on vacation and she was working) I'm not a fan of Nassau. However, if I only cruise off the east coast I realize that Nassau will be on the port of call. The dress code for the MDR is a topic that will be debated for as long as there will be a Carnival cruise. You may want to maintain a dress code for other than shorts, and I agree, others will argue it's their vacation too and will dress for their comfort and they have a point to that. The odor isn't good no matter what and trying to correct that after the system breaks down is going to hang around.
