Review summary

the beach at Freeport was the only good thing .Had a delay and didn't leave port till around 10 pm. Rough seas along with going too fast to make up time. Everyone in our group got sick and missed a whole other day. Service was poor all around. Would not ever spend the money on this cruise again.

Top speed is 21 knots, which is a little over 24 mph. The slower you go the more rolling the ship does. A lot of this can be avoided by booking cabins low and near the center of the ship. My wife and I have been on 11 cruises so far, some in very rough weather. Even one that skirted a hurricane with 80-90 mph winds and have never been uncomfortable.

If they did not go fast then people would be unhappy to have missed ports.  Getting sea sick on the sea.......

What beach did you go to in Freeport?

Eat green apples, bread and saltines to keep your stomach settled and to avoid seasickness.

sorry you had a disappointing cruise but you can't blame Carnival for sea sickness.
