Review summary

My party enjoyed the cruise. However, with this being my third cruise with Carnival, it is apparent that the food quality has been reduced drastically if you choose to use the buffet for meals. The crew was extremely hospitable. The entertainment also was not on the same level as past curises; the entertainers were mostly amateurs.

It was fun seeing the towel animals each day when the beds were made. Sheets and pillow cases were never changed. Towels in abundance, and the steward was very kind.

Ship tip

Though there were four in the cabin, it worked well. This may not be the case if you are unable to walk across the bed to get to the window, if that is where you like to sleep. VB

Not snotty at all just not snooty. I'm not young nor do I get loud and drunk but I also don't complain about someone not remembering my name. Enjoy your cruises on other lines doesn't sound like you belong on a "fun" ship anyway!!

No, that's not the reason, there are several other reasons: the Ecstasy didn't have much entertainment that I liked, the food was tolerable at best (except for the breakfasts which were very good), Carnival tends to be more for young people that like to be loud and drunk...there were also good things: our rooms were very nice and very clean, other passengers were very nice, disembark was quick and smooth. We will cruise again but I didn't particularly care for the Carnival experience. I am entitled to my opinion and I am allowed to share my opinion. You don't have to like it or even agree with it but you certainly don't have to be snotty about it. If you like Carnival then I hope each one of your cruises is wonderful.

Esuits you won't cruise them again because someone called you by the wrong name and didn't get one item you ordered???!! Gasp, the horror of your experience!!!!

We just got off the ship yesterday and was told how wonderful the food is and that you could order as many times as you want (in the dining room), this was our first cruise so our expectations were high. The food was terrible, I ordered an orange sherbet and never got it! The waiter kept calling me by another name! Lol. I was somewhat disappointed. We will probably cruise again just not with Carnival.

I agree! We just got back today as well and the food was only good at the formal dinners. And the pizza and ice cream of course. Comedians weren't that great but gave us something to do.
